Standard Operating Procedure & Platform Usage Agreement
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or registering an account on AniSKY (www.anisky.in), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and legally agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any provision of this agreement, you must immediately discontinue your use of our platform and APIs.
1. Platform Scope & Service Nature
AniSKY provides an advanced web-based discovery engine, watchlist tracking interface, and metadata aggregator for anime enthusiasts. You explicitly acknowledge that:
AniSKY acts strictly as an indexing service. We do not host, store, stream, or distribute any copyrighted video files or media archives on our own servers or databases.
All media links, artwork, and metadata are dynamically indexed from external CDNs and aggregators (e.g., Jikan, AniList, Kitsu, YouTube). We do not guarantee uninterrupted video playback or uptime of third-party servers.
2. Account Registration & Security
To access advanced features (such as Watchlist tracking and custom profile themes), you must register an account. By registering, you agree to adhere to our system security gatekeeping:
Usernames must be a minimum of 5 characters in length. You are strictly prohibited from registering usernames that utilize system-reserved keywords (including, but not limited to, "admin", "anisky", "root", or "moderator"), impersonate platform staff, or contain offensive language.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials and JSON Web Tokens (JWT). Any activity executed under your account will be deemed your legal responsibility.
3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
We maintain strict network stability and API security rules. You are explicitly prohibited from executing any of the following unauthorized actions:
- API Abuse & Scraping: Deploying automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or high-frequency request scripts designed to bypass Cloudflare rate-limits or overwhelm our backend server infrastructure.
- Privilege Escalation: Attempting to manipulate API request payloads (including mass-assignment vulnerability exploitation) to force-enable Premium tiers, custom badges, or administrative privileges without authorization.
- Malicious Payload Injection: Uploading compromised image files, executing Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), or injecting SQL/NoSQL payloads into database forms.
- Platform Disruption: Engaging in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or deliberately interfering with the experience of other registered users.
4. VIP & Premium Capabilities
Certain cosmetic and functional features—such as custom ImgBB avatar integration, profile theme styling, profile badges, and ad-disabling toggles—are reserved strictly for verified Premium subscribers, Moderators, and platform Owners. We reserve the right to modify, add, or revoke Premium tier features at our discretion to maintain platform equilibrium.
5. Termination & Account Suspension
AniSKY reserves the absolute legal authority to suspend, terminate, or permanently ban any user account, IP address, or authentication token immediately and without prior notice if we detect violations of these Terms of Service, suspected API abuse, or malicious network behavior. Upon termination, your right to access the platform will cease instantly.
6. Limitation of Liability
The AniSKY platform, its APIs, and all indexed metadata are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without statutory or express warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AniSKY and its developers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime, data loss, or third-party media server unavailability.
7. Indemnification & Hold Harmless
You expressly agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AniSKY, its creators, developers, system administrators, and infrastructure providers from and against any and all legal claims, damages, statutory liabilities, costs, judgments, or legal fees (including attorney fees) arising directly or indirectly from: (a) your use of or access to the platform; (b) your violation of any provision of these Terms of Service; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or copyright laws.
8. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any legal disputes arising out of or related to the operation of AniSKY shall be governed by, construed, and enforced strictly in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action, lawsuit, or judicial proceeding must be filed and contested exclusively within the competent courts of jurisdiction located in India.
